Thanks, Pinspire Philippines!

I was surprised to receive a package from Pinspire Philippines yesterday. The long wait is finally over! After a month of bugging the Pinspire team and Ms. Sasha Manuel of Style Manila, they finally sent my prize together with a freebie. I was one of the winners of 2GB iPod Shuffle in their The Pinsire iPod Giveaway. Sayang, I wasn’t able to bag the grand prize which is an 8GB iPod Touch. I’m still thankful though. Lucky me pa rin! LOL.

Thanks, Pinspire Philippines!

 31 Korea’s Bibimbop Rice Ball

31 Korea's Bibimbop Rice Ball

It was five (5) days ago when I first visited 31 Korea, a Korean restaurant located few blocks away from our house. It’s found at Mayfair Building along Lacson Street. I was with my hubby’s sister and nephew. I was late (because I went to visit my cousin in a nearby bank) so they were the first to order. When I came in, I already saw them eating. I sat beside Krista and stared on the menu listed on the board in front of us. Errr, I really don’t know what to order. LOL.

Anyway, I saw Bibimbop on their menu so I decided to try it. When my order came, I was kind of shocked because according to Aisha (an online friend who loves to eat Bibimbop) it has eggs, cucumbers, just to name a few. And I really thought that it is a sabaw (soup). I’m so manol. LOL.

To make the long story short, after I tasted Bibimbop, I was totally in love with it! I swear! I like it’s taste, so perfect! I promised myself to be back at 31 Korea. I also wanted to visit their other branch located at The City Walk, Robinson’s Place — it’s kind of big and spacious compared to it’s Mayfair branch.

 Lipat Bahay

It’s been a year since I’m sharing a hosting plan with my online friends. But recently, I have decided to buy my own. We are actually four (4) in the group and I’ve been the second-to-the-last who left our shared hosting. I’m just glad Ronel, who happens to own the domain used in the hosting plan, understands my decision.

Of course there are things to consider if I’m going solo. Like for example, I’ll be the only one who’s going to pay the whole amount per month (it’s kind of pricey and masakit sa bulsa), or I’ll be the one who’s going to fix the problem when something may go wrong with the account. I guess this is just one way for me to be independent again and to learn on my own.

 Daddy Xian’s 27th Birthday

It was hubby’s 27th birthday yesterday, and the usual thing we do was to have a family dinner. That night we decided to eat at Jay-J’s Filipino Cuisine. It’s located at the back of Lopue’s Mandalagan (Art District) here in Bacolod City.

It was actually my first time to visit the said resto. When we arrived there, I find the place really nice. Well, we were the only customers since we arrived there too early. LOL. Anyway, we ordered various types of food, crispy dinuguan, fried squid, lumpia shanghai, just to name a few.

Sad to say, I don’t have any photos of the food we ordered since no one bothered to take a picture. All of us were too damn busy to eat. LOL. The food were all delicious! My hubby even wanted to puke because of having a full stomach. Spell gluttony. Haha.

 Proud To Be A WAHM!

Yesterday I was able to repost a status on Facebook which I believe caught attention of many. In fact it gained a lot of likes from my family and friends.

This is a beautiful post that’s why I want to share it to you! :)

Proud To Be A WAHM!

I’m NOT a housewife — I’m a Housemommy — and not just a Housemommy — I’m a Work-At-Home Mom (WAHM).

I earn more than most of those who have to waste part of lives facing traffic everyday and work at the office, I do not have to submit to a 8-5 schedule, I do not have to endure the pain of wearing high heels and uncomfortable skirts everyday to wow people around me, and best of all, I’m able to spend time with my kid, play with her, teach her, cook for her, and never miss her milestones.

Being a WAHM is a tough but a very rewarding job. It’s sad that most people do not understand what it means to be a WAHM.
