Proud Mommy

My lil darling finally graduated from Junior Nursery at The Woodbridge Academy. I’m so proud of her especially when I saw that she got a special award. Hihi. Nothing is more happy to me than seeing my child succeed in life. Ang sarap maging mommy!
Skin Asthma
Today, I found out that my child has skin asthma. It is a skin condition that has allergic features. It is non-contagious and characterized by chronic inflammation of the skin. The skin appears red, flaky, and can be very itchy. In worst cases, scaling and thickening of the skin is common.
The doctor advised that I should try Cetaphil Restoraderm {Skin Restoring Body Moisturizer}. I need to apply it to Kimy’s whole body twice a day, or as needed. This moisturizer is formulated for very dry itchy skin, and helps restore skin barrier.
After our check-up with the pedia, we went to a nearby pharmacy to buy the body moisturizer. I also bought Oilatum Bar, a mild cleanser for dry, sensitive skin. It is suitable for those who has skin asthma, according to the forums I’ve read on the Internet.

V Day With Family
Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and the three of us went to The Robinson’s Place to have a family date. Hihi. We let Kimy try the Gym Kids, a play place for little children. She was still in her uniform when she played inside the play area but it doesn’t bother her at all. She really enjoyed every moment spent on Gym Kids. Sayang, I don’t have decent photos of Kimy and daddy playing inside the place, but I still have here some shots taken while were strolling inside the mall.

Lunch At Bob’s Resto
The three of us went to Bob’s Restaurant to eat our lunch. It’s been quite some time since we visited the said resto. I ordered a Giant Cheeseburger while hubby decided to eat Sate Babe. And for our lil Kimy, she wanted to eat Jollibee’s Chicken Joy meal so we bought her one in a nearby fast food chain. Hihi.

Peppa Pig

Peppa Pig on Daddy’s iPod Touch and Mommy’s iPad2
Kimy is fond of watching Peppa Pig lately. It is a British animated television series created for little kids. Each episode is approximately five (5) minutes long. The show revolves around Peppa, an anthropomorphic female pig, and her family and friends. Episodes tend to feature everyday activities such as attending playgroup, going swimming, visiting their grandparents, going to the play ground or riding bikes.
Me and hubby always watch with our Kimy as we enjoy this children’s television programme too. We’re crazy over piggies! LOL.
